My Most Embarrassing Moment

Having DID can lead to some very embarrassing moments.

It has been many years, more than I care to admit since this happened but I still remember feeling so embarrassed that I wanted to just disappear! I was 17 and had been dealing with having multiple personalities for several years by this point. I received my high school certificate early and was attending college classes in a nearby city.

Explaining alters to children

I have always wanted children. This I knew from an early age – I don’t expect that many high school kids actively envision what their family will look like in X years. But I did. What’s your name?

A question that is so often asked, but for us rarely answered honestly. When dealing with official business my alters are obligated to use my ‘government name’ if you will. But this past year we had an interesting revelation. I’ll let Bobbie tell you more about it.
